Service Description: This dataset was produced with a scripted spatial analysis, building upon two datasets: DVRPC’s sidewalk inventory and OpenStreetMap’s (OSM) centerlines. Walkable OSM features without full sidewalks on both sides were identified, and new sidewalk lines were drawn on both sides of these streets, offset 10 meters from the centerline. This interim dataset was then erased with the existing sidewalk data, resulting in a data product that shows where the sidewalk network has gaps.
